Kung Fro

There is a legend in some parts of China of a place called Black Cloud Village that existed long ago. This village existed for centuries, mostly in peace. It’s inhabitants were known for their fierceness, skill in the martial arts as well as for their black puffy hair.

As the legend goes, during the early years of the Qing dynasty, the village was attacked under false pretenses by an ambitious Mandarin who was seeking an item of great power. All of the inhabitants of Black Cloud Village were slaughtered and travel to the village and its surrounding areas were banned by Imperial decree upon pain of death.

The legend might have ended there were not for an officer in the Mandarin’s army who took pity on four small boys that he came across. The officers abandoned his post and fled the village with the boys before they were made to suffer the same fate as their kin. The officers knew he would be hunted down for his desertion so he separated the children finding what homes for them he could.

Many years later these children, now grown and fearsome men, would be reunited by the hand of destiny and would embark upon a journey of revenge against the man who took everything from them. At least that is how the legend goes, the legend of Kung Fro.
